Drag and Drop

Drag and Drop is an add-on for Dynamics 365 Business Central developed by BCILITY, allowing users to easily add attachments (files) to the system using the drag & drop method. Instead of selecting files through the standard dialog, users can directly drag documents from their computer onto a specific record in Business Central.

This add-on significantly simplifies daily operations, especially in processes where invoices, contracts, quotes, or other documents are frequently added as attachments to customers, vendors, orders, or invoices.

Key Benefits

  • Intuitive functionality: drag & drop for adding files
  • Supports multiple document types: PDF, Word, Excel, images, and more
  • Integrated into standard pages such as Customers, Vendors, Sales Orders, Posted Invoices, etc.
  • Automatic creation of attachments linked to the related record
  • No need for extra clicks or file dialog windows
